Why does Midori crash so often when playing videos?

Why does the Midori browser crash so often when playing videos? This has been going on for years. Every time I install a new version of Fedora, I try the Midori that can be installed from the repo. It always proves to be unreliable for playing videos. Is this a problem unique to Fedora? -or unique to Midori with Linux? or just a problem with Midori on any operating system?

Re: Why does Midori crash so often when playing videos?

The first thing I used to do was uninstall Midori. I do the same with Firefox these days and replace it with Opera. QupZilla is a better lightweight browser than Midori and is also in Fedora repositories.

Midori doesn't play youtube videos at all on my f26. The lastest epiphany does though. Midori just looks like it's buffering endlessly.
